The smartphone Huawei Mate 40 series is the flagship smartphone produce by the Chinese tech giant known as Huawei. This smartphone Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus, and the Huawei Mate 40 Porches, all of these smartphones are not produce with a Google Play Store and Google Play Services.

However, all apps can be obtained on your Huawei Mate 40. In this article, I will be explaining/showing you how to install or download the Google Play Store on your Huawei Mate 40 and the Huawei Mate 40 Pro smartphones.

How can you install Google Play Store App on your Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40

This method below will be for installing your Google Play Store on Huawei Mate 40; this involved the use of a virtual machine on the Huawei device which is basically inserting another “machine” into your device. This can be likened/connected to computer virtualization software which will allow Mac users in installing Windows on their PC.

To be on a safer/happily side, you have to make sure you have a complete backup of your files and as well as data in case anything goes wrong along the line.

Step 1: You have to open the browser on your Huawei Mate 40 and then go to https://www.gsxnj.cn/index in other to download the virtual machine app.

Step 2: then you have to choose the 64-bit version of the app on the left side and download it.

Step 3: Then tap to install it and then allow all permission.

Step 4: After you have done that, move back to your home screen so you can launch the virtual machine app.

Step 5:  Click on the first button to begin and then click the blue button which is below the screen.

Step 6: Then you will be asked to give the app permissions, just click on the button which is at the right and finally tap the toggle to allow it to display

Step 7: Here you will then go back to the installation and click the button below the prompt.


Step 8: You will be asked for permission in other to access things like your location, photos, videos, and audio. If you are contented, just give it permission and wait for the installation process to complete.

Step 9: After you have done that, the virtual machine app will launch and you will now be taken to a new home screen. Here you then have to click on the blue buttons which will introduce you to some of the app features.

Step 10:  after your virtual Machine app is installed. All you have to do is Just launched the app and click on the gear icon in other to open the Settings.

Step 11: Now you will then scroll down until you find the globe icon and click on it to change the language.

Step 12: You can click on the button at the top, click on the + button and add English. You can move the English to the top and then make it your default language.

Step 13: After that, go back to the home screen and tap on the gear app icon.

Step 14: Now click on the second option which is at the top and put it on.

Step 15: click the button which is on the right and click on it again.

Step 16: Then the Virtual app will restart and it will install the Google Play Store, GMS, and also the Google framework.

Step 17: Pull up the app drawer in the virtual machine and then you will see the Google Play Store on your Huawei Mate 40 Pro. You can now peacefully launch it, then log in with your Google ID, and then install other reasonable Google Apps.

Note: The Virtual Machine app will always close or stop whenever you restart or turn it off. This means you will have to relaunch the app each time you turn your Huawei 40 on.
